Freddie Rabuse

Freddie Rabuse

Freddie Rabuse (piano) is from New York City and has been performing for public audiences since he was 13 years old. With very little formal training, Freddie attributes his innate affinity for music to listening to his mother's comfortable "stride-style" piano playing. His solo and band performances have taken him throughout the U.S., Europe and Japan. Freddie has been a resident of St. Thomas for 18 years.

Joe Ramsay

Joe Ramsay

Joe Ramsay (saxophone) has performed with such artists as Cab Calloway, Natalie Cole, Roberta Flack and The Ink Spots. While in New York he played in venues such as Union Hall, Radio City Music Hall, the Palladium and the Tropicana. He also studied at "Jazzmobile" with John Stubblefield, Frank Foster and Jimmy Heath. In St. Thomas, Joe has played at Frenchman's Reef, BlackbeardŐs, Lionel Roberts Stadium and many other locations.

Ross Alexander

Ross Alexander

California born Ross Alexander (bass), has been a St. Thomas resident since 1997. He concentrated in jazz bass studies at the University of Southern Maine in the early '90s and played in various rock, R&B, fusion and jazz ensembles throughout New England before heading for warmer clime. Ross currently owns a small web production business on St. Thomas and enjoys playing jazz regularly in the VI.

Jeff Minnieweather

Jeff Minnieweather

Jeff Minnieweather (drums) was born in Portland, Oregon where his early years were steeped in gospel music. He attended Mt. Hood Community College, where he was one of the inaugural performers in their Festival of Jazz. In the 20 years since then, he has toured throughout North America, Europe and Japan backing a wide variety of jazz, blues, funk, R&B and gospel artists. Jeff currently resides on St. Thomas where he continues to perform regularly.
